Toshiba announced on September 21st that the US$13.5 billion (currently about RMB 98.55 billion) privatization transaction was successful and delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange, but this does not mean that Toshiba products will become a thing of the past.

Toshiba has announced the new MG10F series of hard drives. This series of hard drives is based on a 3.5-inch standard format helium-sealed design, uses CMR traditional magnetic recording, has 10 internal platters, and has a maximum capacity of 22 TB, which is 10% more than the previous 20 TB model.

Toshiba says the MG10F 22TB HDD is designed to meet the growing storage needs of large enterprises.

According to reports, the hard drive can be used for a variety of applications and workloads, suitable for both cloud-scale applications and traditional data center applications.

The MG10F series hard drives feature 7200 rpm rotation speed, 550 TB per year workload design, and are available with SAS-12G and SATA6G interface options.
