Tokina launched three ultra-telephoto compact reentrant lenses this week and opened pre-orders, compatible with Sony E, Fuji X and Canon M mount models, all of which are APS-C frames.
The range includes the SZ 300mm PRO Reflex F7.1 MF CF at 235g, the SZ 600mm PRO Reflex F8 MF CF at 545g and the SZ 900mm PRO Reflex F11 MF CF at 725g.
They feature a “ring for a clean connection” optical design with a front lens extension and manual focus with a maximum magnification of 0.4x (1/2.5x). It is also equipped with a focus ring that can rotate 270 degrees, which is close to the rotation angle of a movie lens, allowing for more precise focusing.
