The supply chain revealed that the person in charge of Apple’s panel procurement visited major flexible AMOLED panel factories in mainland China in the first half of the year. A domestic OLED panel manufacturer may become the first-tier supplier of iPhone SE 4 panels, while Tianma is the second-tier supplier.
Guo Minghao previously revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with a larger 6.1-inch OLED screen instead of an LCD panel, or a design similar to the iPhone 14, thinking that the machine will use Face ID and a flat frame. There are also rumours of an Apple-designed modem supporting sub-6GHz 5G.
