Rufus is a popular tool for creating Windows (or other operating system) installation media, and the latest release of 3.22 Beta is now available for download from GitHub, with several notable changes and improvements.
Rufus 3.22 introduces the ability to disable automatic BitLocker encryption in the Windows user experience dialog, along with existing installation options to personalize Windows 11 installation media, such as removing requirements for 4GB of memory, secure boot, TPM, and online Microsoft accounts.
Other changes in Rufus 3.22 Beta include support for on-processor SHA-1 and SHA-256 x86 acceleration and the ability to save logs between sessions. However, with Rufus 3.22, Windows 7 users can no longer use the application to download ISO image files.
