On August 8, BMW Brilliance officially released the official pictures of the new BMW 3 Series and announced that the new car will be launched at this year’s Chengdu Motor Show (opening on August 26). As a mid-cycle model, the new BMW 3 Series has been upgraded in various aspects such as interior and exterior design, intelligent interaction and vehicle configuration. From the official pictures, the new BMW 3 Series will adopt the latest family appearance, with a star screen design intelligent drag reduction grille and a new style of “angel eye” LED headlights.
To further highlight the sporty feel of the new car, it also uses the M Sport package, incorporating more high-gloss black elements, while adding new exterior colors of Ferris Gray and Coastal Blue.
Dimensions, referring to the previous declaration information, the new car is 4838/1827/1454mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2961mm, which is a standard medium-sized sedan.
The rear of the new car basically follows the current double L-shaped taillight cluster, lit up to enhance vehicle recognition, at the same time, its rear surround has also been upgraded, the diffuser size increased, with a bilateral two-out exhaust layout, more dynamic.
The interior is also dressed in BMW’s latest design language, with a 12.3-inch + 14.9-inch integrated suspension curved screen and iDrive 8.0 intelligent human-computer interaction system.
It is worth noting that BMW’s typical large chicken leg gear lever has been eliminated this time, and instead, the entire lineup comes standard with an M Sport multifunctional leather steering wheel with shift paddles, and offers up to 10 high-value highlight features, such as a personalized ink gray roof tent, China-exclusive comfort features, and advanced three-zone automatic air conditioning as standard.
As for the power of the car, the new car will continue to pr ovide 320, 325 and 330 power models, of which 320 and 325 will be equipped with the model B48B20C 2.0T engine, depending on the tuning, the maximum power of 115 kW and 135 kW, respectively, while the 330 model will be equipped with the model B48B20G 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 180 kW. As for the transmission system, it still uses the same 8-speed automatic transmission.
