According to Tesla’s service advisor, Tesla will launch a new steering wheel with better materials in July 2023.

The consultant said, “A new, better material steering wheel will be available to the service department in July 2023, and we do not recommend replacing the steering wheel until better parts are available.” Interestingly, Tesla recently began offering a $700 round steering wheel conversion kit.

The Yoke steering wheel is a half-wheel that was first introduced on the Tesla Model S and Model X in the summer of 2021, and was introduced as standard equipment until earlier this year when Tesla began offering buyers the option of a traditional round steering wheel.

The July launch of the new Yoke steering wheel coincides with the expected timeline for the start of production of the Tesla Cybertruck, and a new steering wheel has recently appeared in Beta production of the Cybertruck that differs from all of Tesla’s current steering wheel offerings in a rectangular design, not a round or half-width design, and there is no confirmation that Tesla plans to Whether the new Yoke steering wheel offered by Tesla is this, but just from the time, it is reasonable to think that it may be similar to this.
