According to Tesla’s Swindon supercharger station planning document submitted in the UK, the power of its V4 supercharger pile is confirmed to be 350kW, and it is also confirmed that the side of the pile body will be equipped with display screens, card swiping sensing areas, etc. Function.

The Tesla V4 super charging pile adopts a new styling design and provides a longer charging cable (up to 290 cm) to facilitate charging of third-party electric vehicles.
Compared with the V3 super charging pile, the charging efficiency of the V4 super charging pile has increased by 40%. In addition, the V4 charging pile has built-in CCS, and the maximum charging power can reach 350kW. If calculated by peak power, only 5 minutes of charging can increase the cruising range of Tesla electric vehicles by 168 kilometers.
It is worth mentioning that Tesla demonstrated the new V4 super charging pile at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK last week, which looks full of technology.

Tesla Owners UK found a credit card reader on the V4 super charging pile, as well as a payment screen for displaying information such as the amount, suggesting that the V4 super charging pile will support credit card payments in the future.

Note: Tesla owners who want to use the supercharging pile network need to activate it through its application. The current V2 and V3 charging piles are not equipped with any credit card readers.

As Tesla gradually opens up its charging network to non-Tesla owners, the introduction of credit card payment schemes can further increase the popularity of the charging network.
