Tesla’s official website shows that Tesla today again lowered the starting price of the Model S and X in the U.S. market, with the full series price reduced by $5,000 (the current price is about RMB 34,400).
Detailed price adjustments are as follows:
- The Model S is now priced at $84,990 (currently about RMB 585,000)
- Model S Plaid is now priced at $104,990 (currently about RMB 722,000)
- Model X is now priced at $94,990 (currently about RMB 654,000)
- The Model X Plaid is now priced at $104,990 (currently about RMB 722,000);
As a comparison, Tesla’s latest Model S and Model X are priced in China as follows
- Model S Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive version from RMB 789,900 and Model S Plaid Three Motor All-Wheel Drive version from RMB 1,009,900
- The Model X is priced from RMB 879,900 for the two-motor all-wheel drive version and from RMB 1,039,900 for the Model X Plaid three-motor all-wheel drive version.
In terms of performance, the Model S has a 715 km of CLTC range, a top speed of 250 km/h and an acceleration of 3.2 seconds per 100 km. The Model X has a 700 km of CLTC range, a top speed of 250 km/h and an acceleration of 3.9 seconds per 100 km.
