Tesla officially launched its Supercharger pilot program in Italy on Wednesday, allowing users of non-Tesla vehicles to use its Supercharger network in Italy as well.
Tesla has expanded the pilot program to 15 European countries since it was launched in November 2021.
The pilot program allows owners of non-Tesla electric cars to charge at any of the company’s Supercharging stations at rates between 150 and 250 kilowatts. This is a test program to evaluate the use of Superchargers by non-Tesla drivers.
The pilot project is currently running in 15 countries.

In fact, Tesla has been considering expanding the program to other regions for a long time and expects to open it to global users once the pilot is completed.
It’s worth noting that while the U.S. has a large network of EV charging infrastructure, it still doesn’t seem to be able to meet the current demand for EV charging. Therefore, Tesla this week in the United States under the strong appeal of users to disclose its electric car charging design, no surprise in the future will further open its charging network.
