As we all know, the new Model 3 will be released soon, and Tesla seems to have a lot of old Models 3 inventory, so now it has opened a campaign to provide three months of free charging service for new overseas owners.
This also means that the 2023 Model 3 is not far from being available.
The campaign is now available on Tesla’s U.S. and Canadian websites and only applies to new Model 3s ordered and delivered by June 30. Obviously, this is an added incentive to clear out the old Model 3 inventory before the new Model 3 is available.
In addition to clearing Model 3 inventory, Tesla is also offering three years of free fast charging to Model S and Model X customers who take delivery by June 30.
It’s worth noting that just last week, the U.S. government announced that all of Tesla’s Model 3 models are eligible for a $7,500 (currently about RMB 53,700) electric vehicle tax credit.

News broke late last year that Tesla is designing a new Model 3, codenamed “Highland,” which is expected to launch in the second half of 2023.
According to the news, the new Model 3 will be completely revised in terms of exterior, interior, configuration and powertrain. Spy shots of the Model 3 road test car were taken later, but it was difficult to identify any specific changes as the prototypes were heavily camouflaged in front and behind.
In April of this year, the first photos of the new Model 3 without the camouflage stickers were taken, and we got our first look at the new car, with changes to the lights, bumpers, mirrors and interior trim.
In fact, Tesla has made several significant price cuts in the first few months of the year. Musk once said that he was willing to sacrifice some of his profits in order to drive continued sales growth.
