Tesla announced today that the official global delivery of Cybertruck will take place on December 1 at the Texas Gigafactory in the United States.
It is noted that Tesla had previously stated that it could only receive a limited number of shareholders as on-site guests, and would issue some invitations through random drawings. Tesla said selected shareholders will need to use government-issued identification to confirm their identity and the option is non-transferable.
It is understood that Tesla Cybertruck bookings have exceeded 2 million, with most potential customers choosing the dual-motor and triple-motor versions. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on a podcast on October 31 that Tesla’s goal is to produce 200,000 electric pickup Cybertrucks per year.
Explosions and leaked information show that the new car is about 5.67 meters long, 2.03 meters wide, about 1.79 meters high, and has a wheelbase of about 3.63 meters. The dual-motor version weighs about 3,028 kilograms, and the three-motor version weighs about 3,128 kilograms.
