Tesla China’s June deliveries hit another record high with 295,000 units delivered in the first half of the year

Tesla China set a new high in monthly deliveries. on July 8, data from the Passenger Association showed that Tesla China delivered a total of 78,900 units in June. In the first half of this year, Tesla China delivered a total of 295,000 vehicles. Specifically, 968 vehicles were exported in June and 77,938 vehicles were sold domestically. In December last year, Tesla China exceeded the 70,000 mark for the first time, reaching 70,800 deliveries.

Just last week, Tesla just released its global delivery figures.

In the second quarter of 2022, Tesla delivered 255,000 vehicles worldwide, up 27% year-over-year from 211,300 in the second quarter of 2021 and down 18% sequentially from 310,000 in the first quarter of 2022.

This is the first year-over-year decline for Tesla in two years, breaking a steady growth trend that began in the third quarter of 2020.

In the first half of 2022, Tesla has completed 564,000 deliveries worldwide. That means Tesla China accounts for more than half of global sales again.

During the Q1 2022 earnings call, Tesla revealed its goal of 1.5 million vehicles this year. And for the whole of last year, Tesla delivered 936,200 vehicles worldwide, of which Tesla China delivered 484,100 vehicles, contributing half of the total.
