Tesla App 4.11.0 update: cell phone video can be cast screen car

Tesla official Tesla App today updated to version 4.11.0, the new support for cell phone car big screen linkage, purchase of extended warranty services, recall information reminders.

According to the official introduction, the function supports Tencent video, Youku, Aiki, etc., but the way to cast the screen is a bit tedious, requiring three steps: Step 1: Open the Tesla App.

Step 1: Open Tesla App, click Avatar > Settings > Turn on “Read clipboard at startup”.

Step 2: Open Tencent Video / Youku / Akiyon > select the video you want to play on the car, click Share > Copy link.

Step 3: Open Tesla App and click Home to send to vehicle to play the video on the car.

Tesla App version 4.11.0 also supports the purchase of Tesla extended warranty services within the App, users can open the Tesla App > click Upgrade > Software Upgrade > Tesla Extended Warranty Services.

According to the official introduction, the extended warranty service includes “2 years and 40,000 km” and “4 years and 80,000 km”, whichever comes first, with a minimum price of RMB 7,700.

In addition, the following vehicles are temporarily unavailable for extended warranty service.

1) Vehicles purchased by or through third party dealers.

2) Vehicles older than 48 months or with mileage greater than 80,000 km at the time of purchase of the extended warranty.

3) Vehicles that have not completed an official Tesla vehicle inspection prior to the purchase of the Extended Warranty, or that do not qualify for the purchase after the inspection.

Vehicles older than 36 months or with mileage greater than 70,000 km at the time of the Extended Warranty purchase application.

The vehicle purchased is an official Tesla Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.

The vehicle purchased is a Tesla test drive vehicle or other Tesla internal vehicle.

In addition, Tesla App version 4.11.0 supports reminders for outstanding recalls, so if the vehicle is involved in a pending recall, you can see a “recall information” reminder on the service appointment page.
