According to the latest report of Sensor Tower, a mobile application & handheld game intelligence platform, the revenue and download rankings of Chinese handheld games in overseas markets in June 2023 were announced, and Tencent’s PUBG Mobile returned to the top of the overseas revenue growth and download rankings.

According to the report, with the opening of the new season, the update of the event series and the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India to the Indian market, Tencent’s PUBG Mobile’s overseas revenue grew 27% in June, moving it to No. 2 on the overseas mobile game revenue chart and back to the top of the growth and download charts. As of June 2023, the game’s total overseas revenue has exceeded $4 billion (about RMB 28.881 billion).

In terms of revenue in June, MihaYu’s “Wipeout: Star Dome Railroad”, Tencent’s “PUBG Mobile” and MihaYu’s “Original God” ranked the top three.

In terms of download volume, thanks to the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, the game’s overseas download volume increased by 63% YoY to exceed 15 million times, reigning as the top of the overseas mobile game download chart, with nearly 57% of the overseas download volume coming from the Indian market, thus returning the game to the top of the download chart.
