Tencent’s Timi Studio Twitter account announced tonight that it is developing a new “Monster Hunter” game.
According to foreign media videogameschronicle, Capcom is working with Tencent’s Timi Studio to create a new Monster Hunter game for mobile devices. This game in development will recreate the hunting action that defined the Monster Hunter series while providing players with a new gaming experience unique to the mobile platform.
Data shows that Monster Hunter is Capcom’s second best-selling series, with 88 million units shipped as of September 2022, second only to Resident Evil (131 million units).
According to public information, Tianmei Studio Group was established in 2014, upgraded from the merger of Linlang Heaven, Wolong Studio and Tianmei Yiyu, and is the studio group responsible for developing high-quality mobile games under Tencent IEG (Interactive Entertainment Group).
