India welcomes the Tecno Spark 9 in their region, and it comes with a budget price. Tecno is pushing its mid-range devices into the hands of more people, and they hope this new device will entice more buyers. Certainly, it’d exist in a highly competitive market, but its specifications speak for it, let’s take a look at what this device brings to the table.

Since this is a budget device, one shouldn’t expect top-notch performance from it. This doesn’t mean that it is not a good device, for its price the Spark 9 come with some amazing features. One of such is the virtual RAM which improves the memory (RAM) by 5GB.

- Storage: 3GB/64GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB storage variants.
- Main Camera: Dual setup with a 13MP main camera, and a secondary camera.

- Battery: 5000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge.
- Operating System: HiOS 8.6 running on Android 12.
- Biometrics: Rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The virtual RAM we spoke of adds 5GB to the existing 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of memory onboard. The storage is also expandable with a TF card of up to 512GB. In terms of design, this device is simple, with a bit of colour patterning on its back panel. The screen type houses a water drop selfie camera cutout, which is common with low-end devices.
Tecno Spark 9 price and availability
This device will not only be available in India, it’d as well come to other regions where Tecno is a dominant brand. The new device comes in two colour options, Sky Mirror and Infinity Black. Each colour option comes with a colour pattern that changes the shades or intensity of the said colour.
The pricing of this device is on the low side, as it’d start at 9,499 Rupees (~$118). At this price, it seems like this device is cheaper in India, except if the price Tecno advertises is for early birds. It isn’t available yet for purchase but will being sales in the coming days.
