Transsion Holding subsidiary just launched the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro and there is so much focus on camera quality. This device is succeeding the Tecno Phantom X that became official back in 2021 becoming the brand’s first flagship-level device. The new entry to the Phantom line–up is a big jump in terms of performance from its predecessor.
One of the biggest features of this new device from Tecno is its processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Joining this is 12GB worth of LPDDR5X memory capacity and up to 256GB storage capacity. With the MediaTek Dimensity processor, this device will be able to max out its camera abilities.

As we made mentioned earlier the camera ability of this device is its point of attraction even its design draws so much attention to the rear cameras. The camera setup on this device houses three lenses, a 50MP main lens, a second 50MP telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultrawide camera. In addition to this, the main camera comes with a retractable lens to help improve the quality of portrait shots. This retractable technology for portrait shots is the first of its kind in the world.
For its front camera, the Tecno Phantom X2 comes with a 32MP selfie camera that sits in a centre screen cutout. The screen size on this device is 6.8-inches, and it uses an AMOLED panel which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This device also comes with a curved screen just like its predecessor.
The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro runs Android 12 on HiOS 12 which brings noticeable customizations to the device’s interface. The battery capacity on this device is, 5160mAh and supports 45W fast charging support. Its design will not suit everybody’s taste, but it makes a bold statement. The pricing of this device starts above $700 and will soon be available for purchase via Tecno’s official store.
