Tecno Phantom V2 Fold/Flip exposed, with Dimensity 9000+/ Dimensity 8020 SoC

Tecno’s first foldable screen phone Phantom V Fold was launched in April last year and is equipped with Dimensity 9000+ processor. Now the successor model of this phone has been revealed.

Recently, two new Transsion smartphones have passed European EEC certification, with model numbers AE10 and AE11, and are expected to be Phantom V2 Fold and V2 Flip respectively. For reference, the previous generation models were AD10 and AD11.

It is found out that these two new phones have also appeared on the benchmark platform Geekbench 5.4.6 Android version AArch64. Among them, the AE10 model scored 1283 points in single-core and 3974 points in multi-core; the AE11 model scored 832 points in single-core and 3130 points in multi-core.

From the perspective of processor architecture, the two products are expected to be equipped with Dimensity 9000+ and Dimensity 8020 processors respectively. Other configurations of these two new machines are still unknown.

For reference, Phantom V Fold is equipped with a 7.85-inch 2000 x 2296 resolution foldable internal screen, using a 120Hz LTPO panel; three rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x zoom camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera; using Dimensity 9000 + Processor, built on TSMC’s 4nm process; equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 45W wired charging (wireless charging is not supported).

Transsion Phantom V Flip is equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera (1/1.73-inch sensor, f/1.7 aperture lens), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (120°), and a front-facing 32-megapixel lens (supports autofocus); front-facing equipment 6.9-inch OLED display, supports 120Hz LTPO refresh rate; built-in 4500mAh battery, supports 45W fast charging; equipped with Dimensity 8050 processor.
