Transonic announced that it will launch its first folding screen phone, the Tecno Phantom V Fold, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor, on February 28.
The Tecno Phantom 9000+ features Arm’s v9 CPU architecture and 4nm octa-core process, with a 5% increase in CPU performance and a 10% increase in GPU performance. The Cortex-X2 core has been increased from 3.05GHz to 3.2GHz and three Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores with Arm Mali-G710 MC10 graphics processor.
The real image of Tecno Phantom V Fold has been revealed, according to the news, it comes with 12GB + 256GB storage, with 50MP rear main camera, running Android 13, and side fingerprint recognition, with a curved external screen.
TECNO has previously announced its participation in MWC 2023, where it will launch its flagship PHANTOM product. This is TECNO’s first time to participate in MWC when TECNO smartphone products and AIoT digital product ecology will be unveiled.
During MWC 2023, TECNO will have a separate booth to showcase a number of key products, including the new PHANTOM flagship, which will debut soon, and the PHANTOM X2 series – PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G and PHANTOM X2 5G, which were just launched in Dubai. The world’s first TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian custom model with “photochromic” technology, SPARK 9 Pro Sport and SPARK 10 Pro, and POVA 4 Pro will also be on display.
