Tecno entered the folding screen market for the first time with the Phantom V Fold phone, which aroused heated discussions among netizens. Now, the brand plans to launch a mid-range clamshell foldable phone called the Phantom V Flip.

The rendering provided by Paras Guglani shows that, unlike the traditional separation of the camera and the display, Tecno chose to integrate the back screen of the product into the camera module. The screen is surrounded by lenses, and the overall recognition can be said to be very high. The device will be available in three color options: black, white, and purple.

According to foreign media Newzonly, the Phantom V Flip phone will be equipped with a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner screen and a 1.32-inch AMOLED outer screen with screen resolutions of 2640×1080 and 466×466, respectively. The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor, offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, have 64-megapixel and 13-megapixel rear cameras, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
In other respects, the Phantom V Flip phone body is built with two batteries of 1165 mAh and 2735 mAh, and the total battery capacity is around 3900 mAh.
Currently, the release date of the Tecno Phantom V Flip phone has not yet been announced.
