According to reports, the service will provide TCL North America users with a rich variety of free entertainment programs. The first push of content includes more than 200 FAST channels and more than 1500 on-demand movies and series, produced by Scripps Media, Fremantle, NBC Universal, FilmRise and Banijay and other well-known content producers in Europe and the United States.

TCL said the service, jointly created by TCL and content providers and technology platforms, is a new and enhanced version of TCL Channel. tCLtv+ will enrich the viewing experience of users through TCL’s proprietary AI technology “IDEO”. tCLtv+ users only need to speak out their requests to the remote control to order food on a new ordering platform. TCLtv + users will be able to order and enjoy takeaway food on a new ordering platform by simply speaking their request to the remote control, and at the same time quickly find program recommendations using the “Suggested Viewing” feature.
TCL has already joined hands with streaming solution partners such as Amagi, XUMO, Wurl, OTTera and Future Today to drive content distribution and commercialization. In addition, TCL has also entered into strategic partnerships with content producers such as Brainstorm Media, Questar Entertainment, Big Media, Nicely Entertainment, Viva Pictures and Tesera Entertainment to develop IDEO content.

The TCLtv + service is now online for TCL TV users in the United States and Canada using the Google TV platform. TCL TV users using other platforms such as Roku TV and Fire TV will also enjoy the service soon. Users will be able to start using the service for free, without subscription, payment or login.
