TCL China Star announced the launch of a UHD outdoor highlight LCD customization solution with a module brightness exceeding 4000nit, which has the characteristics of high brightness, high stability, and long life.
TCL CSOT officially announced that the developed outdoor high-brightness LCD product (module 4000nit) is optimized and innovative compared with the existing LCD TV (module 500~700nit). Exposure to sunlight while supporting 24-hour non-stop operation. 55UHD high brightness 4000nit is TCL CSOT’s first full outdoor high brightness product.
TCL CSOT adopts TSS pixel design to achieve high penetration specifications (55UHD Tr%=6.0%), supports 4000nit ultra-high brightness, and can present better display effects under strong outdoor light; uses high-stability devices to reduce the probability of electronic transitions, which is conducive to improving Strong light stability, while improving the leakage of devices in strong light & high-temperature environments, even when encountering strong light and other harsh conditions, the display can also operate optimally.
In addition to high-stable devices, TCL CSOT also uses high-stable GOA circuits to eliminate the risk of product leakage through a new inverter design; at the same time, it optimizes the TFT size design to improve the circuit stability of products in high-temperature environments and ensures long-term stability of the display screen Excellent performance, service life up to 45000Hrs, support 724 hours3 years use in all outdoor scenes.
TCL CSOT wide-temperature LCD supports -40~105°C, wide-temperature POL can withstand a temperature of 85°C / 500h, and wide-temperature Tcon supports an operating temperature of -30°C-80°C.
Based on this outdoor high-brightness LCD technology, TCL CSOT has developed two products, 55FHD & 55UHD, with a brightness of 4000nits, which will be unveiled as the main exhibits at the 2023 SID exhibition.
