Tamron’s official website has now launched the page for the 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD Nikon Z mount lens.
The Tamron website shows that the Nikon Z-mount 150-500mm F/5-6.7 lens will be launched on October 31st.
According to previous reports, in 2021, Tamron released the 150-500mm F5-6.7 Di III VC VXD telephoto lens for the E-mount. In 2022, Tamron launched a Fuji X mount version of this lens.
Tamron said that this product is 209.6mm long, has a maximum diameter of 93mm, weighs 1725g, and has sufficient stability for handheld shooting. The lens structure is 25 elements in 16 groups. It uses special material low dispersion lenses and composite aspherical lenses to effectively suppress the occurrence of various aberrations such as chromatic aberration. The high-speed, high-precision linear motor focusing mechanism VXD (Voice Coil High Torque Drive), combined with the VC (optical image stabilization) mechanism, helps photographers capture wonderful moments. The lens has a simple anti-drip structure and anti-fouling coating, and is equipped with the second-generation broadband anti-reflective coating BBAR-G2, which has excellent suppression effect on flare and ghosting.
