The Xpeng G3 Xmart OS 1.9.9 was officially pushed, bringing 6 new features, and 8 experience optimization.

Experience optimization:

  • Just say “Hello P” once and P will be able to complete multiple commands in a row
  • Navigation, music, car control and many other applications support “see and say”, just say the switches and buttons in the application
  • The main driver/passenger driver wakes up to become the exclusive assistant, avoiding the command “string”
  • Voice can control more operations and settings outside the big screen

New features:

  • New USB music playback function
  • Free and self-owned charging stations can be filtered when searching for charging stations on the map
  • Optimize the storage capacity and storage method of Bluetooth phone
  • Improve information security

This update only supports G3 models equipped with Qualcomm 820A chips.

XPeng G3 Xmart OS 1.9.9 officially pushed

The official guide price of the G3i is $148,900-176,900. The car is 4495×1820×1610mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2625mm; it is equipped with a second-generation permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power/torque of 145kW/300N・m.

According to the e-car report, in today’s Xpeng car’s internal opening letter, He Xiaopeng revealed that this year will launch 5 new and revised models (previously said at the earnings meeting is 3). From the known information, the revised models will be P7, G3, P5 three models, while the new models are Coupe SUV and MPV models.

The new P7 has now been declared at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with few changes to the exterior, offering a LIDAR version with the LIDAR hidden in the headlight cluster position. It will be equipped with an 86.2kWh battery pack, with 610km, 670km and 702km range options.

The spy photos of the new Coupe SUV and MPV models of Xpeng have also been previously exposed, the former front with the same latest family design language as the G9, including split headlights and closed grille, is also expected to be equipped with LIDAR.

The MPV model is known to have very little information, the spy photos show that the new car adopts the X-BOT FACE 3.0 design style, the side of the car is typical MPV style, square and straight.

In terms of assisted driving, Xpeng Auto is accelerating the development of its next-generation full-scene intelligent assisted driving product, XNGP, with key features planned for launch in the third quarter of 2023.
