Zhang Guoquan, director of Xiaomi’s mobile system software department, responded to the HyperOS update adaptation plan for Xiaomi 10 and 11 series phones, saying that the HyperOS system is expected to be updated in mid-April.

It is reported that after Zhang Guoquan posted a Weibo post about the delivery status of Xiaomi SU7 cars today, some netizens asked in the comment area whether HyperOS for Xiaomi 10 series phones will be launched at the beginning of the month or at the end of the month. He replied: “It is expected to be with 11 in the middle of the month.”

In March this year, when Zhang Guoquan revealed the start of internal testing of the travel assistant, he said that Xiaomi 10 series mobile phones will update the HyperOS system in April.

It is learned that Xiaomi HyperOS was released in December 2023. Based on the integration of AOSP and self-developed Xiaomi VelaOS, engineers “completely rewritten” the underlying architecture. This system is also Xiaomi’s decision to unify MIUI, Vela, and Mina , the software architecture of the four systems of car and machine OS, and the product of merging the underlying operating systems.
