According to reports from foreign media, Ryan Levenson, a Tesla electric car enthusiast and owner of several Teslas, has leased a Model Y recently produced at the Texas SuperFactory through a rental car platform.

According to the report, Ryan Levenson leased the Model Y, which is a standard range version with two motors and a range of 279 miles, or 449 kilometers.

In the report, Levenson drove the Model Y into a charging station with V3 Superchargers after the vehicle’s range showed zero, and he started charging at 12:25 p.m. By 1:17 p.m., the vehicle showed a range of 270 miles. That means his Model Y, which he was driving, was nearly 97 percent charged in 52 minutes.

The Tesla electric car enthusiast also revealed on social media that after analyzing the charging power curve, he found that the Model Y with the 4680 battery reached 250kW soon after charging began, unlike his previous charge, which had been gradually ramped up to 250kW.

Levenson also revealed that the 4680-cell Model Y he drove continued for 3 miles after displaying a range of 0, and that acceleration did not appear to be affected.
