Oppo launched four different products in its launch event on July 18th, 2022. The products are Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Oppo Enco X2 and Oppo Pad Air. Amongst them, the Oppo Pad Air is the first tablet launched by the brand in India. It offers features like a 2K resolution display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset.

Oppo Pad Air specifications and features

The Oppo Pad Air offers a 10.36-inch IPS LCD panel with 2K 2000*1200 pixel resolution, 60Hz standard refresh rate and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light eye comfort certification. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The RAM is expandable up to 7GB (4GB+3GB virtual RAM) and the storage is expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.

Oppo Pad Air

It has got an 8-megapixels single rear camera and a 5-megapixels front selfie snapper for video calls and meets. It will boot up on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 skin out of the box. The tablet comes with quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. The device gathers power from an in-built 7100mAh battery which supports up to 18W fast wired charging.

The tablet is one of the slimmest in its segment thanks to its 6.94mm thickness. It has a Sunset Dune 3D texture on the back panel, an “Agile Floating screen design,” and Oppo Glow, which makes the tablet scratch and fingerprint-resistant. The Oppo Smart Stylus, which must be bought separately, is also compatible with the tablet.

The Oppo Pad Air comes in two different variants in India. The base 4GB+64GB variant is priced at INR 16,999 and the high-end 4GB+128GB variant is priced at INR 19,999. The device will go on sale in India starting July 23rd, 2022 on one and only Grey colour variant via Oppo’s official store.
