]]> Xiaomi released the Xiaomi 12 series in December last year, of which the Xiaomi 12 Pro is the world’s first model with a self-researched Surge P1 chip. Through the Surge P1 chip, the machine also achieved a record 120W single-cell second charge, able to do 18 minutes of full 4600mAh, but also to keep the body thin and light.

The latest news from @DigitalChat is that Xiaomi is also developing a single-cell super 100-watt and dual-cell super 100-watt solution, with the super 100-watt referring to a higher-powered fast charge than the current 120W, such as 200W and so on.

The new single-cell super 100-watt fast charging mentioned here, mainly relying on a new generation of self-research fast charging IC, no surprise should be named Surge P2.

The chip not only can time faster single-cell fast charging, but also allows super 100-watt fast charging, and the larger battery can be simultaneously balanced, do not rule out the possibility of more than 5000mAh, so the combination of the two can bring a very big improvement to the battery life, worth looking forward to.

In addition to the Surge P2 chip, there are overseas users who previously found information about the Surge C2 ISP chip, from time to time, this chip may soon appear in the Xiaomi flagship, which should be completed by the MIX series debut, also worthy of attention.

]]> The company’s fourth self-developed chip has been born one after another, respectively, SoC chip Surge S1, image chip Surge C1, and fast-charging chip Surge P1. Today, Xiaomi’s fourth self-developed chip officially debuted. It is “Surge G1”, a battery management chip.

The Surge G1 chip is first used in the 12S Ultra, not alone, but in conjunction with the Surge P1, forming the “Xiaomi Surge Battery Management System”, which can extend battery life while significantly improving charging efficiency.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra is equipped with a second-generation silicon oxygen-negative battery with a capacity of 4860mAh, representing a DOU endurance of up to 1.24 days for heavy use loads (Xiaomi 12S 1.23 days / Xiaomi 12S Pro 1.21 days).

For charging, Xiaomi 12 Ultra supports 67W wired fast charging with 50% charge in 15 minutes, 50W wireless fast charging with 40% charge in 15 minutes, and 10W wireless recoil.
