]]> In May this year, Sharp released a new machine AQUOS R7 and announced that it would be open for pre-sale from July to August. Today, a netizen posted a screenshot of the AQUOS R7, and it’s easy to see that it uses the same Sony IMX989 SMOS as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

However, although it uses the same one-inch outsole, unlike the 50-megapixel main camera of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the main camera of the AQUOS R7 is only 47 megapixels, which means that Sharp has cropped this IMX989.

It is worth mentioning that Sharp AQUOS R7 also has a partnership with Leica and will use a Leica Summicron lens, which means it will also have excellent imaging capabilities.
