One year after the release of siduction 2021.3 “Wintersky,” the Debian-based siduction 2022.1 Linux distribution was released today. The new version is internally codenamed “Masters of War” and runs on the Linux 6.1.1 kernel.

Xfce 4.18

The siduction 2022.1 Linux distribution has three desktop environments: KDE Plasma 5.26.4, Xfce 4.18 and LXQt 1.2. Interested users can download them according to their needs.

In the official support document, it is written: “Anyone who knows us knows that we used to use rock songs to name versions, and now we will return to this way. siduction 2022.1 Linux dates back to Bob Dylan (Bob Dylan) in A song of the same name released in 1962”.

The new features of the siduction 2022.1 Linux distribution include enabling the Nala front end for the Debian-based apt package manager, the Snapper tool for processing system snapshots when installing siduction using the Btrfs file system, and chroot in the live image -helper tool to make it easier to chroot into an existing siduction installation in case of system failure.
