With the continuous development of technology, the form of television is also becoming more and more diverse. Previously, Xiaomi released a transparent TV, and recently, Panasonic presented a semi-wireless TV prototype at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) in Berlin.

According to techradar, the OLED TV prototype comes with a separate wireless box to which users can connect the relevant cables, and between the TV and the wireless box, data is transmitted wirelessly and supports the transmission of up to 4K images. Although the TV still requires a power cord for power, users can hide the cord in other ways, such as hanging the TV like a painting.

Panasonic’s OLED TV prototype features a 55-inch OLED screen and weighs 10kg, making it thin and light overall. Although the technology used in the TV is not a breakthrough, when combined, it has a modern feel. Hopefully, in the future, the TV will completely solve the power cord and be powered by wireless charging.

In addition, although users can wireless data transmission through the connection box, the TV is also equipped with relevant interfaces, including two HDMI interfaces and two USB interfaces, one of which supports eARC transmission of audio and one HDMI interface supports 4K 120 fps picture transmission.

Samsung has also launched TVs with external connection boxes in recent years and uses a single cable connection on models such as the Samsung QN95B.
