Samsung announced today that its “Try Galaxy” application, which was previously only available for Apple iPhones, is now available on the Android platform, allowing users to experience its latest artificial intelligence in advance without purchasing a Galaxy S24 series phone. (AI) function.

Samsung said that with the advent of the “mobile AI era”, they hope to give more users the opportunity to experience its products. The “Try Galaxy” app emulates Samsung’s latest flagship device, and users will find a new window on the second page of the home screen that highlights its core AI features and One UI 6.1 system. By clicking on a feature, users can see a short video explaining how the feature works on the Galaxy S24.

It is noticed that there are five functions available for trial, the first is “real-time translation”. The app will show users communicating with people who speak different languages, and Samsung said its “two-way call translation” feature is built into the mobile app and supports text and audio translation in 13 languages.

Note Assistant provides AI-powered summarization and note organization, turning lengthy paragraphs into easy-to-read bullet points. The “Chat Assistant” can be directly integrated into the Samsung keyboard to translate messages in real time.

Users can also try out Google’s Circle Search tool, which allows users to search by circling specific areas within an image.

Also included in the app is a tutorial for Photo Assistant, which includes a short video of the Generate Edit feature that shows how Samsung’s AI can help users get perfect photos and eliminate imperfections. In addition, the app will showcase the S24 series’ new advanced camera features, such as taking “clear and bright photos” using the “Night Shot Zoom” feature, and the demo will also cover tools such as Super Image Stabilization and Portrait Mode.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung also plans to update these AI features to some older devices in March, including the Galaxy S23 series (including S23 FE), Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

It’s worth noting that Samsung has previously said it plans to charge for some Galaxy AI features starting in 2026.
