]]> Samsung announced at CES 2023 the launch of its new SmartThings Station, a small home hub that helps users easily connect smart home devices. In addition to being “affordable,” the Hub also includes a 15W wireless charging pad. The device is compatible with SmartThings devices and also works with a growing number of Matter products, allowing users to buy and use different brands of smart home products.

With SmartThings Station, users can set routines such as turning off lights or controlling other smart devices. Users can use the SmartThings app to create up to three routines for the Hub, which can be activated by pressing the smart button on the SmartThings Station. These three actions can be invoked with a short press, long press or double tap on the smart button. Users can also start a routine directly from the SmartThings app.

SmartThings Station offers other benefits as well. For example, it supports connecting to the SmartThings Find service, which can help scan lost Samsung smartphones, tablets, watches and earphones. Also works with Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag+ so users can find lost keys if they have connected these products.

Samsung said the multifunctional smart home hub will be available in the U.S. and South Korea in early February for $80 (about 551 CNY).
