Samsung previously announced the SmartThings Station, which went on sale in the Korean market on January 25. The device is available through Samsung’s online store and Digital Square for the first time in South Korea, and Samsung has prepared a gift for early buyers.

Users who purchase the SmartThings Station through Samsung Korea’s online store and Digital Square before February 28 will receive a free Galaxy SmartTag.

Pricing details for the SmartThings Station in Korea were not mentioned, but the device is expected to cost $60 (currently about RMB 407) – $80 (currently about RMB 542) in the US. The Samsung SmartThings Station is available in South Korea this month, and the U.S. is scheduled to go on sale in early February.

It’s unclear if other markets will also give away SmartTags, which can be attached to belongings, keys and other items to track their location through SmartThings Find.

The Samsung SmartThings Station was announced at CES 2023. This product is deeply integrated with the SmartThings platform and serves as a Hub hub for smart home devices, including control of power outlets, thermostats, smart curtains, home appliances and more. It also serves as a wireless charging pad for Galaxy devices with 15W charging speed.

With SmartThings Station, users can set up routines such as turning off lights or controlling other smart devices, the users can use the SmartThings app to create up to three routines for the Hub that can be activated by pressing the smart buttons on SmartThings Station. These three actions can be invoked by short press, long press or double tap on the Smart Button. Users can also start the routines directly from the SmartThings app.
