Samsung recently released its September 2023 Security Bulletin, fixing 62 security vulnerabilities, but unfortunately: the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10 5G, Galaxy Note 10 + and Galaxy Note 10+ 5G series models are no longer eligible for the update.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 series of phones in 2019 with Android 9 pre-installed, with the latest version currently being Android 12. The series has been supported for more than 4 years, so it’s time to stop support.

Reports say that the European version of the Galaxy Note 10 series stays in the July 2023 security update; the U.S. version of the Galaxy Note 10 series stays in August 2023; check microblogging, the country line Galaxy Note 10 series should stay in July.

On August 9, 2018, Samsung released its Galaxy Note 9 flagship phone, which was released running Android 8.1. in 2019, the machine received a major update to Android 9. in 2020, the machine received the One UI 2.5 update based on Android 10. After that, the phone received quarterly security updates.

Yesterday, Samsung released its September security update and listed the devices supported by this update. While adding the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 models with folding screens, the Galaxy Note 9 was removed, meaning that it has ended official support and will no longer receive security updates every quarter.

Meanwhile, Samsung has dropped the Galaxy Note 10 series of phones from monthly updates to quarterly updates. The phones in the series were released in August 2019 with Android 9 on board at launch. In 2020, the Galaxy Note 10 series phones received the Android 10 update; earlier this year, the Note 10 series phones received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update. However, the Note 10 series phones will not get the Android 13 update.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is equipped with a 6.4-inch 2K resolution SuperAMOLED screen that supports IP68 level water resistance, and the machine has a 12MP dual rear camera that both supports optical stabilization. As a Samsung Note series model, the machine supports the S Pen stylus and can open the floating window function.
