Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A54 5G phone, and the latest news says that Samsung will soon launch another Galaxy M54 phone. Samsung Colombia’s official website has gone live with the Galaxy M54 support page, confirming the model number SM-M546B, which supports 5G network and dual SIM dual standby.

The support page does not provide information about the specifications of the Galaxy M54 5G, but sources say that Samsung will further improve the hardware specifications of the camera.

The Galaxy M54 5G’s camera could be boosted from the previous generation’s 50 megapixels to 108 megapixels, but it’s unclear whether it will have optical stabilization features.

In terms of hardware, it will come with an Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device uses a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.

A pair of unannounced Samsung chipsets have appeared on the Bluetooth SIG database ahead of their imminent launch. The Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380 are expected to arrive alongside the new Galaxy A-series phones in the first quarter of 2023.

The Bluetooth SIG listing confirms that both of the upcoming chipsets support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity thanks to the addition of the Samsung Bluetooth Controller V6 RF chip.

The Exynos 1380 is thought to be the successor to the Exynos 1280, a name we’ve already seen in some old rumors earlier this year.

According to rumors, the Exynos 1380 may bring 2 ARM Cortex-A CPU cores, Mali-G615 GPU and an integrated 5G modem with support for mmWave and sub-6GHz connectivity. Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A74 smartphones, which could be the first devices powered by the Exynos 1380.

The Exynos 1330 is expected to be the successor to the entry-level Exynos 850 in 2020. Details are scarce at the moment, so we’ll have to wait a little longer for more spec details to emerge.

Samsung is known for helping Google design Tensor chips for smartphones, tablets, and other devices, and the first generation of Tensor in the Pixel 6/6 Pro is based on a custom Samsung Exynos 2100 chip. Now, Samsung is testing two new chips, one of which is presumed to be the second-generation Tensor chip.

According to information shared by Galaxy Club, Samsung is testing 2 new chips. One of them may be the successor to the Exynos 1280, which will probably be called Exynos 1380 when it becomes available, while the other is the S5P9865, which is expected to be the next generation Google Tensor chip, as the first generation model was the S5P9845.

Sources say the S5P9865 (internally codenamed Zuma) is already being tested on a developer motherboard codenamed “Ripcurrent”. However, previous information said that Tensor 2 was tested on a developer board codenamed “Cloudripper”. So the new Tensor chipset could be used in the Pixel 8 series.

System LSI is also testing the S5E8835 chipset, which, depending on the model number, could be the successor to the Exynos 1280 used in various mid-range Galaxy smartphones. It could be launched as the Exynos 1380 and used in some mid-range Galaxy smartphones in 2023.
