AMD Zen4 launched the first four X-series processors, and according to the exposure, there will be a Ryzen 7 7700 next, with slightly lower specifications, but lower power consumption and lower price. Now, the Ryzen 7 7700 has appeared in the GeekBench 5 database, and it is detected as 8 cores and 16 threads, the second-level cache is 8MB, and the third-level cache is 32MB. These are the same as the Ryzen 7 7700X.

However, the reference frequency has been greatly reduced from 4.5GHz to 3.8GHz, which is how the thermal design power consumption has been greatly reduced from 105W to 65W.

The maximum acceleration frequency detection is 5.35GHz, which is expected to be 5.4GHz like the Ryzen 7 7700X, while the typical acceleration frequency is generally 5.3GHz.

The single-core running score is 2062, which is only about 3-4% lower than that of the Ryzen 7 7700X and the Ryzen 5 7600X. It is very satisfying to have such a performance when the frequency is reduced by 700MHz.

The multi-core running score is 12685, which is about 10% behind the Ryzen 7 7700X, but about 13% ahead of the Ryzen 5 7600, and the card is very accurate.

Compared with the previous generation, its single-core performance leads the Ryzen 9 5950X by 22%, and its multi-core performance is very close to the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X.
