Before the release of the RTX 40 series graphics cards, there were rumors that the RTX 40 series would have a TITAN model, with the memory capacity doubled to 48GB compared to the RTX 4090.

Now, Kopite, who has a good record of breaking the news, says that the RTX 40 series does not have a Titan model.

Nvidia had launched a TITAN RTX model in the RTX 20 era with 24GB of video memory, while the contemporary RTX 2080 Ti had only 11GB of video memory. In the RTX 30 era, the RTX 3090 had 24GB of video memory, and Nvidia did not launch a TITAN model. Therefore, in the RTX 40 era or even later, Nvidia is unlikely to launch TITAN, and if you want more memory, you can only choose professional cards.

According to reports, Nvidia’s best AD102 chip has been reserved for the RTX 4090 Ti, which will have 18176 CUDA cores, which is 11% more than the 16384 CUDA of the RTX 4090. At the same time, the RTX 4090 will be equipped with faster 24 Gbps 24GB of GDDR6X memory, and the bandwidth will increase from 1 TB/s to 1.1 TB/s. Taken together, the RTX 4090 Ti will perform 10% to 20% higher than the RTX 4090.

As planned, NVIDIA will release the RTX 40 series graphics cards at the GTC conference on September 20.

A few days ago, Greymon55 shared a spy shot of the RTX 4090 Ti. The picture shows three fans placed side-by-side, and the housing material seems to be plastic or frosted metal.

For such a shape, the high-sensitivity argument is simple and brutal, while the low-sensitivity argument is no design sense. In this regard, the viewpoint of the people who broke the news is that it is more like an engineering prototype card, used to test the GPU and define some parameters, the final FE public version will certainly not be so simple.

However, another tipster, kopite7kimi, did mention the existence of a triple fan version of the AD102 core, so if that’s the case, I’m looking forward to how NVIDIA will eventually lay out the three fans.

The current news is that the RTX 4090 Ti is expected to have 18,176 CUDA built in, matching 48GB of GDDR6X memory, 96MB of L2 cache, TSMC’s 4nm process, GPU frequency of 2 to 3GHz, and power consumption of the entire card rushing up to 600 to 800W.

Today, graphics card tipster kopite7kimi put out news about NVIDIA AD102 GPU top-of-the-line graphics card, the card’s name is uncertain, may be called RTX 4090 Ti or the new Titan.

The top-of-the-line card, known as the Beast, will reportedly use the PG137 PCB instead of the PG 139 used in the RTX 4090. its GPU core is the AD102-450-A1, which has 18176 CUDA cores, 11% more than the RTX 4090, and 48GB of 24Gbps GDDR6X memory, twice as much as the RTX 4090.

In terms of power consumption, the tipster said the overall power consumption of this beast of a graphics card is about 800W.

Moore’s Law is Dead previously released a rendering of the public version of the RTX 4090Ti, saying that it uses a three-slot design, and may even reach three and a half slots. IT House has learned that the first model of Nvidia RTX 40 series graphics cards is expected to be the RTX 4090, the RTX 4090 Ti or Titan mentioned above is expected to be released later The RTX 4090 Ti or Titan is expected to be released at a later date. About RTX 40 series graphics card specifications, the following is the latest breaking news from the tipster kopite7kimi, for your reference.

RTX 4090

GPU model AD102-300-A1, 16384 FP32 core, GPU frequency up to 2750MHz, memory is 384bit 21Gbps 24G GDDR6X, power consumption 450W.

RTX 4080

GPU model AD103-300-A1, 10240 FP32 core, 256bit 21Gbps 16G GDDR6X memory, 420W power consumption.

RTX 4070

GPU model AD104-275-Kx-A1, 7168 FP32 core, 160bit 18Gbps 10G GDDR6 memory, 300W power consumption.

Following the recent news that NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 4000 (Ada Lovelace) graphics card won’t arrive until November or even December, a new claim from a leaker makes the prediction sound slightly more optimistic. They believe that the only next-generation NVIDIA graphics card launching this year will be the RTX 4090, while the RTX 4050, 4060, 4070 and 4080 won’t arrive until 2023.

Leaker Greymon55 recently said on Twitter that the next generation product announcements/releases will be focused around September. He thinks AMD’s Radeon 7000 GPU (Raphael) will be announced next month and launched in September, while Intel’s Gen 13 Raptor Lake CPUs will be announced in September and launched in October.

As for NVIDIA, which has a large inventory, Greymon55 predicts that it will announce the AD102 GPU in September and launch the following month. The GPU is the flagship of the series and will appear in the RTX 4090 and the expected RTX 4090 Ti. As for the rest of Lovelace, it probably won’t appear until 2023.

While this sounds unlikely, there is evidence to support the claim. After years of high and low prices, the cards are priced below MSRP and in good supply – NVIDIA is reportedly discontinuing the 12GB model of the RTX 3080 and clearing out the overstocked 10GB version at a discounted price.

We’ve also seen reports that NVIDIA is looking to delay its 5nm order with TSMC for the RTX 4000 series, a result of cooling demand for expensive luxury consumer products as the cost of living and inflation rise. In addition, there has been an influx of cheap ex-mining cards hitting eBay, enticing cost-conscious gamers to take a chance.

Market and economic conditions like oversupply and current card price slippage seem to be affecting NVIDIA’s plans at least somewhat. This has led to rumors that NVIDIA is delaying the launch of the RTX 4000 series until December. While Greymon55 believes the series will arrive in October, it’s “likely” that only the RTX 4090 will land this year, which could be good news for AMD.

According to the latest information shared by the oil tube channel Moore’s Law is Dead, HD renders of NVIDIA’s next-generation ‘Ada Lovelace’ BFGPU, the GeForce RTX 4090/RTX 4090 Ti, are shown. According to the renders, the flagship AD102 GPU will use the updated Founders Edition cooler.

These renders are very reliable and give us the first clearer look at the Founders Edition coolers. These coolers will be used by the next generation of Ada Lovelace powered BFGPUs. MLID now provides a new set of renders for the same AD102 card at different angles. The renders were created using information gathered by knowledgeable people through their sources.

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4090 Ti and RTX 4090 will be very power hungry by design, with TGP ratings of 450 to 600W. Based on previous leaks from Kopite7kimi and recent rumors, it appears that the GeForce RTX 40 series will use a similar cooler to that used in the existing RTX 30 series, but with some internal changes. The RTX 4090 Ti and RTX 4090 are said to have FE coolers between 3 or 3.5 slots and will carry more heatsinks and a larger heatsink surface area.

Other elements of the card such as the dual circulation fan design will remain the same and the logo on the shroud will be illuminated by LEDs. One thing is for sure, you will need a lot of case space to accommodate these next generation BFGPUs, such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti and RTX 4090. in addition, you will need to purchase a very robust PSU rated at least 1200W (or more). The next generation of the GeForce RTX 40 flagship is expected to launch in October, with the rest of the product line coming in the next few months. You can see more information about the card here.
