AMD Ryzen 7000 processors and X670 series motherboards will be available on the 27th of this month. Now, ASUS has released a real shot of the CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME flagship motherboard, which is expected to be released for the first time.

The ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme will support a new generation of DDR5 memory with a data rate that is 50% faster than the previous generation DDR4 memory, and the motherboard has a lot of hardware and firmware optimizations to push overclocking to the absolute limit.

In terms of interfaces, the ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme provides a front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 2×2 connector that supports Quick Charge 4+ and enables 60W charging. Equipped with two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, this motherboard is ready for future graphics cards; it also offers five M.2 slots, four of which support PCIe 5.0 x4 mode; and six SATA 6Gbps ports.

The board is equipped with an AniMe Matrix display that can showcase custom animations. In terms of power supply, the ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme uses a 20+2 phase power supply with a current of 110A.
