Less than half a year after the release of vivo’s first folding screen, the newly evolved Vivo X Fold Plus has officially arrived. What kind of sparks will the stronger Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, stronger 80W dual battery flash charging and 5000+ application compatible experience create on this product? With these doubts in mind, let’s go into the in-depth experience of Vivo X Fold Plus.

The biggest change in the appearance of the vivo X Fold Plus is the new red color. Unlike the traditional red color, this red color, which is deeper and heavier, with the plain leather process, is extremely business-like. The red leather is paired with the black frame and image module, and the red and black combination, as well as the shiny vivo logo on the leather, gives the phone a unique and elegant look.

The image module part, Vivo X Fold Plus adopts the square and round sky step design, the round four-camera module is located on top of the square “sky step”, the right side uses a large area of white, the upper right corner of the obvious Zeiss small blue mark.

Between the round lens module and the square decorative parts, there is a slightly curved extension of the glass surface articulated, this continuous glass surface cleverly transition the abruptness of the camera module. The rotor part, using a metal sandblasting process, matte frosting is very fine.

At first glance, the center frame of vivo X Fold Plus looks angular, but a closer look reveals a small circle of rounded chamfers near the edge, making the whole frame look thinner and lighter.

In addition to the volume and power buttons, there is also a separate physical mute button in the center frame, which allows users to choose whether to turn off/on the media volume with the mute button through the system settings.

On the top, there is a large speaker opening and infrared light; on the bottom, there is a microphone, speaker, SIM card slot and charging port; in addition, the Vivo X Fold Plus+ has three microphones (top + bottom + back lens set) and a barometer, which displays air pressure and altitude in real time in the compass.

Vivo X Fold Plus
Vivo X Fold Plus

As a folding screen phone, Vivo X Fold Plus’s external display ratio is no different from that of a normal phone, measuring 6.53 inches with 2520 × 1080 resolution and an aspect ratio of 21:9, which makes it slightly heavy in the hand.

After the vivo X Fold Plus is unfolded is 8 inches, 4:3.55 aspect ratio, resolution up to 2160 * 1916 large internal screen, this internal screen is also made of E5 material, support 120Hz high brush, also reached the world’s first 19 Display Mate performance records, and got the overall A + level certification, is still the top of the folding screen screen.

Compared to traditional photoelectric fingerprint, ultrasonic fingerprint is one level higher in unlocking rate, speed, anti-interference and security, and there will be no sudden bright light “blindness” at night.

In terms of hardware, the Vivo X Fold Plus has a considerable upgrade. Firstly, the processor has been upgraded from Snapdragon 8 to the latest Snapdragon 8+, which has been greatly improved thanks to TSMC’s 4nm process, especially in terms of temperature control and power consumption.

Secondly, in the charging part, Vivo X Fold Plus battery is upgraded from 4600mAh to 4730mAh, and the fast charging is also upgraded from 66W to 80W, and also supports 50W wireless flash charging and 10W wireless reverse charging. Other specifications are still top-notch, including a custom SPU security chip, 12GB+512GB, 12GB+256GB storage, overclocked UFS 3.1 + enhanced LPDDR5, and more.

In addition, it should be emphasized that Vivo X Fold Plus also supports DSDA technology for the first time and debuts dual 5G dual SIM technology on the folding screen, for example, when the primary card is gaming/ talking, the secondary card can still call/ talk/ text. For business people, this feature is very important, not to miss calls, disconnected, to keep the dual card communication lasting smoothly, and may be able to negotiate a large business list at critical moments.

Where to buy Vivo X Fold Plus? This folding phone is now available on Giztop for $1799. Here is a extra coupon code to save $40: GTD2.

The vivo X Fold Plus is a high-end, business-friendly folding screen flagship. If you need a folding screen phone with everything you need, then the vivo X Fold Plus is the more appropriate choice right now.

This year Apple still brings us four iPhone models, differentiated by screen size and hardware performance. Of the four phones, the iPhone 14 is clearly the most cost-effective model, with leading performance, a powerful imaging system and, most importantly, a friendlier price tag, making it a phone for more people.

iPhone 14

The emergence of cell phone images has greatly lowered the threshold for people to take pictures. Pick up the phone and press the shutter, every person can record the meaning of their lives.

The iterative upgrade of hardware can lay a good foundation for excellent shooting experience. This year iPhone 14 still uses the classic dual rear camera, where the main camera lens sensor and aperture are both increased, the amount of light intake compared to the previous generation increased by up to 49%, greatly improving the quality of shooting in dark environments.

iPhone 14 Camera Sample

On top of the new hardware, Apple’s powerful computational photography capabilities have also been enhanced. iPhone 14 Series features a new “Light and Image Engine” that selects the best pixel from multiple exposures and blends them when the shutter is pressed, which preserves richer image data so that even in low light conditions, photos are brighter, more vibrant, and beautifully detailed. This way, richer image data is retained, so that even in low light conditions, photos can be taken with brighter and more vivid colors and fine textures.

iPhone 14 Camera Sample

With comprehensive hardware and software upgrades, the iPhone 14’s image capabilities remain in the current top tier. In good lighting conditions, iPhone 14 can capture photos with pure image quality and transparent colors. For example, when taking portrait photos, iPhone 14 will automatically optimize the contrast, skin tone and other details of the image.

iPhone 14 Camera Sample

Thanks to the fully upgraded imaging system, iPhone 14 is able to get pretty good results in nighttime conditions. When the phone senses low ambient light, it automatically turns on night mode and presents the finished film in the viewfinder after pressing the shutter.

The advent of the iPhone has not only helped more people take good photos in a low-barrier way, it has also helped many people express their emotions through video with this de-elite tool.

With last year’s iPhone 13 series, Apple introduced “Movie Effect” mode, which automatically captures the focus of the image based on AI and allows the user to shift focus by manually tapping. With “Focus Shift,” users are freed from the more specialized elements of color, composition, and framing to create a story in the simplest way possible. This year, the iPhone 14 series has a cinematic mode that supports 4K Dolby Vision video, and Apple offers two different options at 24fps and 30fps to meet the needs of different creators.

iPhone 14 Camera Sample

In addition to a sense of “storytelling,” you need to create stable images with your phone. iPhone 14’s “Sports Mode” was created for this purpose. The OIS optical stabilization can provide a good anti-shake effect at the hardware level, but in the face of running, bumpy vehicles and other special environments, just relying on handheld does not bring a stable picture performance.

Since “sports mode” will ensure stable picture quality in the center by cropping the picture, the phone will shoot at 0.5x focal length by default when this mode is turned on, and if you want to shoot with the main lens, you need to adjust to other lenses before shooting.

As you can see from the motion picture, the picture is still stable even when shooting in a running state. However, precisely because of the way the sports mode is cropped, this mode only supports up to 2.8K 60FPS video shooting. But for shooting motion pictures, this image quality is sufficient.

iPhone 14 For those who want to choose a classic, this year’s iPhone 14 is the corresponding option for you. It is still reliable, sturdy and trustworthy with its performance in the first tier, and finds an optimal balance for us in balancing product design and user experience.

The latest ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, its screen can be described as immaculate. Under the FHD specification, it achieves the seamless integration of the real off-screen front-facing area and other areas, and there is no difference in strong light or text display. Selfie is saying goodbye to “hazy beauty”, not afraid of strong light exposure, and face recognition still responds in seconds.

In addition to the classic off-screen forward shots of the Axon series, this ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has another surprise, which is the leap forward in imaging capabilities.

Not only the classic 35mm humanistic lens from its own Z series, but also a full 64-megapixel three main camera lineup, which also includes a very rare periscope telephoto. The rear camera of ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is absolutely sufficient, and it can be called the level of an image flagship. The charm of 35mm, I believe you will understand it in seconds after you experience the torment of 24mm wide-angle.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra not only solves the problem of insufficient physical fineness of the screen, but also eliminates the jagged edge of the text from the pixel rendering aspect, and achieves the integration of the under-screen area and the surrounding area, and no longer has obvious boundaries under strong light. .

It is the most perfect full screen under 1080P. If there is an upgrade in the future, it is only possible that the physical parameters of the screen such as 2K resolution and LTPO variable refresh rate will be improved.

More importantly, the selfie effect of the front-facing area under this screen is not bad.

Without the hazy beauty of previous generations, the lens will not be overexposed when encountering strong light. Even if you don’t have a little selfie needs, it can perfectly meet the needs of daily face unlocking in seconds. If you are not a selfie expert, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra definitely has the screen you want most.

In addition, the flagship image configuration further improves the positioning of the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. With the image configuration blessing of its own Z series, it is one step closer to an all-around flagship.

The full 64-megapixel triple main camera effect is amazing. Especially the main camera, the currently popular wide-angle main camera is really difficult to compose, and the 35mm humanistic lens will not disappoint me every time I use it. What’s more, it also has this periscope ultra-telephoto lens and a super wide-angle lens with good quality. Although the configuration of all focal lengths can’t roll over those video camera kings, it is also full of their skills.

The rest of the Snapdragon 8 processor, 80W fast charge, 5000mAh large battery and other configurations are also quite a lot. ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is definitely not only a perfect full screen, its other configurations are also very colorful.

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra uses three rear cameras, all of which are 64 million pixels. Among them, the superhuman main camera and the ultra-wide-angle main camera both use a custom Sony IMX 787 sensor, which supports full-pixel omnidirectional focusing. The humanistic main camera is still a unique 35mm focal length, and the periscope telephoto main camera also has a 1/2-inch outsole, and its image strength cannot be underestimated.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra

The device adopts a square shape, and the top and bottom are flat. In addition to independent dual speakers, Type-C interface, Sim card slot, and microphone, there is also an infrared remote control.

If you always feel that the configuration of a full-screen mobile phone is almost meaningless, then ZTE Axon 40 Ultra can definitely fulfill your flagship dream of a front-camera mobile phone under the screen.

]]>
The global version of the Realme GT Neo 3 that launched in China about a month ago has been launched in India with a price tag of ₹ 36,999 which roughly converts to 482.91 USD. The GT Neo 3 is marketed for its 150W UltraDart charger, but there is an 80W version also with a bigger battery. Today we will be reviewing the 150W model for our readers.

Unboxing

In the package, the GT Neo 3 150W comes with a SIM ejector, a USB-C cable, a protective TPU case, some paper works, and a 160W charging brick. A 160W charger is bundled with the phone, but the phone only supports 150W.

Design

The GT Neo 3 comes in 3 colors: Asphalt Black, Sprint White, and Nitro Blue but we got the blue variant. The phone is well built and weighs only 188g, so it is very light. It is rectangle-shaped with curved edges and sits comfortably in the palm.

The backplate is made of plastic, which is covered with finger-resistant AG glass. There are 2 white lines on the left side of the back, interrupted at the top by a camera bump that houses 3 cameras, and at the bottom by the “Realme” name and the tagline “Dare To Leap”. Realme calls the design a “Racing Stripe Design,” a tribute to the racing legends meant to represent the speed and performance of the device.

The display takes most of the real estate on the front with a 94.5% screen-to-body ratio. There is a tiny cutout at the top for the 16MP selfie camera.

The GT Neo 3 has a power button on the right side and a volume rocker on the left. There is a speaker on either side of the phone, and the charging port sits at the bottom of the phone. The sim tray slots in at the bottom on the left side of the USB-C charging port.

Performance

The GT Neo 3 is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, a 5nm processor with 8 cores and clocks at 2.85GHz. This processor handled everything I threw at it with ease, including COD and Asphalt Legends 9. The stainless steel vapor cooling system kept the phone under 50°C at all times, even after long hours of gaming. Day-to-day usage is a breeze and I experienced no lagging. There is low latency and the haptic feedback is quite pleasant.

The display on this phone is also very impressive. It is a 6.7″ 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a dynamic refresh rate which allows the phone to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz. The display also excelled particularly well when viewing HDR content. I also encountered no problems using the phone in the sun because the screen can get very bright. In a dark room, I had to manually adjust the brightness to the level I wanted, as the auto function adjusted it too low.

The company also claims there is a dedicated display processor which intelligently inserts intermediate frames, increasing frame rates up to 120 fps, but this feature is only available for a few games.

For biometric security, the phone comes with an under-screen fingerprint reader and a face ID sensor, both of which are very fast and responsive

The GT Neo 3 runs Realme UI 3.0 OS which is based on Android 12. It is very well implemented and optimized. This is evident in the smooth and buttery experience I got as I swapped through the pages.

Cameras

The GT Neo 3 features 3 cameras: a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The primary sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX766 with OIS. Pictures from this camera are highly optimized with a lot of details. The camera also performs well with HDR subjects, managing to capture a range of different tones. In the night mode

The ultrawide camera is great for the price bracket.

Video-wise, the rear camera can shoot 4K videos up to 60 fps, while the front camera is limited to 1080p at 30 fps.

Charging & Battery

A 4500mAh is the source of power for the GT Neo 3, and I easily got through the whole day on a single charge.

In terms of charging, according to the company’s marketing, the 150W charger can charge from 0 to 50% in 5 minutes. During my tests, it did charge up to 50% in about 6 minutes and charged to 100% in about 17 minutes.

FYI, Realme markets the 80W variant as being capable of charging from 0-50% in 12 minutes.

Variants

As mentioned earlier, the GT Neo 3 comes in 3 colors: Asphalt Black, Sprint White, and Nitro Blue. For the chargers, you have the option to choose between the 150W or the 80 W variants.

The 150W version comes in a single 12GB + 256GB storage configuration, but with the 80W version, you get the options of 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB to choose from.

If your preference is based on battery life, the 150W model comes with a 4500mAh dual-cell battery, while the 80W model packs a 5000mAh dual-cell battery.

Cons

 • Although most of the bloatware can be removed, it is not always a welcome addition.
 • The 2MP camera does not wow me, yet it does take some nice photos. A telephoto lens would have been ideal.
 • The dedicated display processor is currently only available for a small selection of games, but this will be addressed in a future firmware update I hope.
 • Very similar to GT Neo 2 in most areas

Conclusion

The GT Neo 3 150W global version offers a lot for its price tag. I am very comfortable recommending this phone to anyone who wants to swap out an old phone. If you have the GT Neo 2, I think you aren’t missing out on much.

At the OPPO K10 series super-dimensional new product launch conference, the OPPO Enco audio family once again ushered in a new member-OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro, priced at 299 CNY(About $47).

According to official information, this is a new true wireless noise-cancelling headphone product for trendy youth who pay attention to audio-visual entertainment experience. That alone is indeed enough “Pro”.

Now we will bring you the unboxing and first-time “on-ear” experience.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro still continues the OPPO Enco family-style design language, with a delicate cobblestone shape, round and very textured.

In terms of detailed design, OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro has moved a lot of careful thought, such as the double-layer transparent bubble compartment, and the top of the storage box is wrapped by transparent bubbles. Of course, it is difficult to notice the slight changes in the design at first glance, but after getting it in your hand, especially when you hold it horizontally, the pure transparent bubble compartment will bring a very obvious light and translucent texture.

Back to the front, the OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro storage compartment adopts a new smile curve. The simple understanding is that the opening part is concave design. This design allows the earphones to be exposed to a larger proportion for easy access.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro
OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro has a charging port on the bottom and a status indicator on the front. Like OPPO Enco Air 2, it also has no buttons. How to pair new devices without buttons? OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro also gives a very simple operation method – take out the earphone and press and hold the earphone for 4 seconds at the same time.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro has achieved IP54 dustproof and waterproof certification. In terms of accessories, it provides two sets of earplugs of different sizes, as well as a type-C port data cable. The OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro charging box has a battery capacity of 440 mAh, and the headset has a battery capacity of 43 mAh. The official said that the headset can be used for up to 7 hours alone, and the charging box can provide a maximum of 28 hours of music battery life, while supporting fast charging.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro
OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro

The OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro weighs 4.3g per ear, and it is relatively comfortable to wear without any obvious foreign body sensation. The silicone earplugs are very soft, and the ear pressure is slight. There is no major problem in wearing them for about an hour.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro is equipped with a 12.4mm giant moving coil, with a frequency response range of 20 Hz ~ 20 kHz. According to the official statement, this is also the largest unit in the domestic in-ear true wireless headset.

Determining the sound quality of TWS headphones comes from various aspects, including speakers, wireless transmission and tuning, etc. However, in theory, when other parameters are the same, the larger the moving coil unit, the better the sound quality. Especially when the configuration of products of the same level is basically the same, at this time if you have a large moving coil, you have the advantage of better sound quality.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro uses a dual-core noise reduction chip. Through ANC active noise reduction technology, after the noise reduction is turned on, the background noise will be significantly eliminated, and some low-frequency noises can be eliminated, such as the sound of someone walking behind, such as a few meters. Conversation with outsiders, such as opening and closing doors, etc. But it can’t suppress slightly higher-frequency sounds, such as the sound of hitting a mechanical keyboard.

In general, the noise reduction level of OPPO Enco Air2 Pro is not bad. Although it cannot beat the OPPO Enco Free2 with stronger noise reduction, it can also meet daily use.

Similarly, OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro also supports transparent mode, but after all, it is an in-ear design, and the experience can only be said to be quite satisfactory.

As a new member of the OPPO Enco audio family, OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro still continues the family’s high quality and price ratio advantage. Whether it is design, sound quality or intelligent interaction, the value it brings to users is far beyond the price of the product itself.
