]]> Recent rumours have it that the coming Redmi Pad will launch on October 4, this might be the case as the device bags its SIG certification. The certification lets us know the model number, product name, and software version of the coming tablet. Previous leaks have shown off the specifications of this coming tablet entry from Redmi.

Sometime in the month of August, this tablet got its 3C certification, hence revealing a few of its features. First, this tablet will launch with a processor that our sources identify as the MediaTek Helio G99. The memory capacity here will boast up to 4GB of RAM, and storage for its part will hold up to 128GB of ROM.

The battery capacity of the coming tablet will be 7800mAh which can give prospective users long usage on a single charge. Its 3C certification also shows that this tablet will make use of a 22.5W fast capability. The screen size of the table is said to be 10.61-inch, which will possibly be a 2K LCD IPS display. 

For its software, the Redmi Pad will launch with Android 12 and the company’s in-house MIUI 13 for added customizations. We know that this will be an affordable tablet, it is also the first entry from Redmi, our sources say it will retail for 18,800 Rupee (~$230). Possibly, this tablet will make its debut during the Xiaomi launch event to take place on October 4.
