Razer is developing a new Blade 18 gaming laptop, and the laptop has appeared in the Geekbench 5 database, showing a 24-core Intel Core i9-13900HX CPU.

Geekbench data shows that the processor is clocked at 5.4GHz and has 24 cores and 32 threads, or 8 large cores + 16 small cores. This will be the most number of cores in the field of notebook computers ever a chip.

There are only three models of Blade Gaming laptops available: Blade 14, Blade 15, and Blade 17. The Blade 17 is the top-end flagship model, available with a 12th-generation Intel Core i9-12900H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards.

The 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900HX is Intel’s flagship chip for mobile, set to be released later this year, and will offer a base frequency of 1.8GHz and up to 5.4GHz acceleration with 36 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of around 55-65W (PL1).

In terms of scores alone, the i9-13900HX with its much larger core count offers a 26% increase in multi-threaded performance and a 7.5% increase in single-threaded performance over the Core i9-12900HX. Unfortunately, the GPU of this laptop is not yet known, and it is expected that the Razer Blade 18 will be officially announced after the release of Intel’s 13th generation Core mobile processor platform, so stay tuned.
