This new launcher is currently being tested in Edge’s Canary and Dev channels. Interested users can type “edge://flags/#edge-devtools-toaster” in the address bar and set “DevTools Toaster” to enabled, which you can summon it by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+Space buttons on your keyboard.

When you do this, you’ll see a floating box in the middle of the Edge’s web page that prompts you to enter your keyboard. This box looks very clean, like Spotlight on macOS, and it floats above what you’re working on in the middle of the screen.

You can then type in keywords like tabs, windows, or clear to get suggestions for common tasks like closing tabs or clearing your browsing history. You can even see your history, but note that the command bar doesn’t support all tasks, so you may still need to manually go to Edge’s settings menu to perform tasks.

Overall, this seems to be a nice feature, but since it is being tested in the Edge Insider channel, not everyone will be able to get this feature in the stable version of Edge.
