The new feature developed by Intel and Meta is based on an existing feature introduced by Intel last year called Dual Connection Technology (DCT), which was originally designed as a way to connect computers to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz or 6GHz networks to increase bandwidth speed and stability. It can be a good solution to the problem of unstable Internet speed when playing games.

In addition, Intel spokesman Saviver Kim said the new feature does not apply to the AX411 add-on card, and although it also offers Intel’s dual connectivity technology, it will not work with AMD chips and motherboards because the AX1690 requires features from Intel’s 12th and 13th generation platforms to work.
