]]> A large number of Raspberry Pi development boards have emerged on the market, either more powerful, more ports, or cheaper. These Raspberry Pi development boards mainly use low-end processors from brands such as Rockchip or MediaTek.

French company MakeMyBoard recently launched a development board called Thunderberry5, claiming to be “the first Raspberry Pi-like SBC based on Qualcomm AI-CPU, similar to the SBC of Raspberry Pi”.

The development board uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS610 octa-core chip, which includes 2 Gold cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 Silver cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

The graphics part uses 845MHz Adreno 612, with 4GB of LPDDR4 memory and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and supports Android 10 or Yocto embedded Linux distributions.

At present, the official price and release date of this SBC have not been announced.
