POCO M5, POCO M5s renders

The renders of POCO M5s reveal that they will have a similar design pattern compared with the Redmi Note 10S device. There are no major changes in the design as much, only the camera module has stretched by a bit and the POCO logo has been mentioned over it. The renders reveal that it will have a centre-aligned punch hole cutout on the front and quad rear cameras along with an LED light on the back. The volume controllers and power on/off button is placed on the right-hand side of the device.

As for the POCO M5, according to the renders, the handset has a waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie camera. On the right edge, you’ll find the volume control and power button, as well as a fingerprint sensor. The phone has a leather finish on the back, which makes it stand out. On the top half of the back panel, there is a huge horizontal housing that houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. The phone might be available in three colours: green, yellow, and black.

The report further mentions that the POCO M5 will be available in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants. The POCO M5s will also have the same 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variant. The former may have a price tag of EUR 189 while the latter might start from EUR 229, for the base variant.

According to pricebaba yesterday, a source said that the Xiaomi POCO M5s will come in three colorways, gray, blue and white. In terms of storage, it will be available in 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB storage specifications. There is no more information about the other configurations of the machine.

For Xiaomi POCO M5 Standard Edition, the previous information shows that the machine is expected to use a 6.58-inch FHD + resolution LCD screen, equipped with MediaTek Helio G99 chip, with 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB three storage specifications.

In terms of battery life, the POCO M5 Standard Edition will have a built-in 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In addition, the phone runs Android 12-based MIUI 13, with a side fingerprint, USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of price, the rumors say that the machine may start at less than 15,000 Indian rupees (about 1303.5 yuan).

MediaTek released the Helio G99 chip in May this year, which is based on TSMC’s 6nm process and is equipped with two Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.2GHz and six Cortex A-55 cores at up to 2GHz, and the GPU is Mali-G57 MC2.
