Note that Google Pixel phones (with custom Tensor chips) – Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 6A – will not be able to be flashed back to Android 12 after upgrading to the official Android 13 release. A notification on Google’s developer site indicates that this is caused by a bootloader update.

"WARNING: The Android 13 update for the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a includes a bootloader update that adds anti-rollback versioning capabilities. After brushing to Android 13 on these devices, you will not be able to brush to older versions of Android 12."

Also, if users have taken the Android 13 Beta test and want to opt-out of the quick update cycle without wiping their device, now is the time to do so. After updating your phone to the latest version of Android, simply visit the Google Beta website and unregister.
