IDC released a report stating that China’s PC shipments in the fourth quarter of 2022 will be 6.76 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 17.1%.

The data shows that in 2022, China’s PC monitor shipments will be 25.83 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.1%; the consumer market will decrease by 8.3% year-on-year, and the commercial market will decrease by 27.6% year-on-year. Terminal demand is weak, and the entire industrial chain is under pressure.

IDC expects China’s PC monitor shipments to reach 26.18 million units in 2024, up 4.3 percent year-over-year, according to the report.

In 2022 China’s PC monitors of 27 inches and above will account for 31.7%, a year-on-year increase of 5%.

In addition, China’s e-sports monitors (refresh rate ≥ 144Hz) will ship 3.93 million units in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%. 420,000 e-sports displays above 165Hz were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 31.7%, and 360Hz displays have begun to emerge.
