Recently, Pagani announced its latest product, the Huayra Imola Imola Roadster, which is limited to 8 units. Although its scarcity is slightly lower than the Huayra Imola Coupe version (limited to 5 units), it is still a rare product. Treasure, the official has not disclosed the specific price of the car.

In 2020, Pagani launched the Huayra Imola Coupe version for the first time to pay tribute to the legendary Imola circuit in San Marino, Italy. The performance of the newly released Roadster version is further improved, with the maximum power increased by 12 horsepower to 850 horsepower. In order to achieve stronger performance, Pagani has comprehensively upgraded the aerodynamic design of the latter’s body part. For example, it has increased the ventilation and heat dissipation opening area on both sides of the front apron to have a more efficient cooling effect; at the same time, the front wheel side wings have been The ventilation openings on the board have been optimized to better guide the air from the wheel arches, reduce the lift of the front axle, and improve stability.

In addition, the position of the side skirts on the side of the body has also been newly designed, which can better guide the air flowing around the body to the rear radiator and brake cooling duct, bringing better performance response to the vehicle. Pagani said that every detail of the body is designed to provide the driver with 1,378 pounds (600 kilograms) of downforce at a speed of 280 kilometers per hour, and the car can generate up to 2.2G of lateral force and 2.2G of lateral force. Braking force.

In order to further reduce weight, the Huayra Imola Roadster chassis is made of Carbo Titanium HP62-G2 and Carbo Triax HP62 lightweight materials, and the vehicle paint is reduced by 5 kilograms through new spray painting technology. The final vehicle weight is 1260 kilograms, slightly higher than the Coupe version (1246 kg).

Internally, Huayra Imola still retains Pagani’s mechanical style. The exposed gear transmission mechanism under the gear handle, rough carbon fiber texture, brown leather, wood and Alcantara materials complement each other, highlighting its unique beauty. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a simple and direct mechanical instrument panel, a flat-bottomed carbon fiber multi-function steering wheel, and a four-point racing safety belt manufactured by Sparco. In addition, the new car also has the “Imola” logo embroidered on the headrest.

In terms of power, the new car continues to be equipped with a 6.0T V12 twin-turbocharged engine provided by Mercedes-AMG. The maximum power has increased to 850 horsepower (625kW), and the peak torque is still 1,100 Nm, which is higher than the Imola Coupe version. 12 HP. The transmission system is matched with a 7-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox, and the top speed is set at 350 km/h.

A render of the possible successor of the Pagani Huayra, released a few months back by some netizens, has a name and a launch timeframe today. If we go by the recent reports that have come out, this much-anticipated new car, code-named C10, will hit the markets in mid-September this year. September 12th, 2022, is the reporter’s best bet for the exact date.

Pagani C10 render

According to these latest renders from multiple online sources, including Instagram user Varryx, the Pagani C10 is seen to share some features with the Pagani’s older models. While the skylights on the roof and the wide front grille are comparable to Huayra, the teardrop-shaped cabin clearly reminds of Zonda.

Pagani C10 leaked render

While the front of the car features a lot many curves, the rear end is flatter as compared to Huayra. The car also seems to have taken design inspiration from the company’s earlier models where the dinky rear wings and the angular front bonnet are very similar to the C12S model.

Pagani C10 specifications (rumoured)

The Pagani C10 would be a rear-wheel-drive that would use a new version of Mercedes-AMG’s 6.0 litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that has been updated to draw power close to 850-880 horsepower. Customers can choose between a manual gearbox or a dual-clutch automatic option with shift paddles. With the C10, the company’s focus has been more on handling than on power, with a lot of thought put into making the car economical by its weight.

As of now, the company plans to limit the production of this new variant to around 280 units. These would include coupe, roadster, and special variants. C10 would supposedly be Pagani’s last to draw power from pure combustion. Future models are expected to be hybrid, as would be revealed by the company later this year.
