]]> The Reno series will receive a new entry, the OPPO Reno 8z, which will use a Snapdragon processor. The information on this device as given by Geekbench is a bit limited. We are only aware of the memory capacity, operating system, and score of this device.

The exact processor on this device isn’t made known by the Geekbench listing. We know that this device will use an ARM Qualcomm processor. Our sources claim that the processor on the device will be the same available on its predecessor. This is the Snapdragon 695 processor that is on the OPPO Reno 7z, which launched earlier this year.

If this information is accurate, the Snapdragon 695 processor on this device will use an 8GB memory capacity. Storage capacity is not specified, but we expect it to support up to 256GB of SSD storage. There will as well be storage options on this device depending on what a buyer wants.

This device will run ColorOS on Android 12 with the availability of at least one year of OS updates. For its design, we understand that the OPPO Reno 8z will feature a similar design to the OPPO Reno 8 lite and OnePlus Nord N20. The launch date of this device isn’t certain, but we expect it to be available in the coming month.

]]> OPPO Reno 8 series has been officially released, OPPO will also hold a launch event in Taiwan Province of China on July 21. The OPPO Reno 8Z is now available at the NCC.

Now, the OPPO Reno 8Z has appeared in the NCC’s database, and from the parameters, it should be the Reno 7Z that was previously listed overseas in a new shell.

The OPPO model CPH2457 has just been certified by the NCC, and the model has already appeared in the Thai NTBC, confirming the corresponding name as Reno 8Z.

In the NCC certification information, this phone and OPPO Reno 7Z together with the application for certification, and also support 33W fast charging. As previously reported, the OPPO Reno 8Z is the Reno 7Z in a new name and shell.

The OPPO Reno 8Z will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a perforated design, a 16MP front-facing camera, a 64MP rear-facing main camera with a 2MP depth-of-field camera and a 2MP macro camera, and a built-in 4500mAh battery.
